*Responsibilities* * Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
* Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
* Monitor, direct, and coordinate activities of inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to ensure assigned projects are kept on schedule and within budget while meeting clients' needs and delivering a quality project.
* Manage subcontractors to accept reasonable change order requests and associated costs.
* Identify potential issues and ensure timely decisions are made.
* Work within schedules and plans of operation for construction projects in close consultation with the Project Manager.
* Monitor daily scheduled activities.
Prepare for and lead a bi-weekly schedule meeting for subcontractors and vendors and provide a two-week look-ahead schedule and monitors daily for conformance.
* On a daily basis, inspect completed work for quality issues and compliance to contract documents.
* Attend progress meetings with owners and be prepared to address the project progress and issues.
* Ensure proper electronic document record keeping.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
*Qualifications* * 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in ground up construction and/or renovations and restoration projects with a general contractor as a superintendent.
* 6+ years of experience as a LEAD superintendent on at least 3 projects as follows: $1M + and/or $2M+ single project value; new construction &/or major renovation experience a plus.
Commercial Construction +5,000SF and/or +10,000 SF OR Multi-family construction +10,000 SF (+6 units) and/or +50,000 SF (+10 units) * Ability to effectively lead on-site project personnel to ensure completion of project on-time and within budget.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors, and clients.
* Familiarity with construction management software; experience with Procore preferred * Strong leadership qualities and negotiation skills.
* Deadline and detail oriented.
* _*Must be able to successfully meet the requirements of a pre-employment selection assessment and a thorough background check.
*_ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.
