You'll get to: Establish and clarify product and program objectives and ensure that the development team has the guidance and resources necessary to succeed.
Plan and direct schedules, manage budgets/spend and coordinate with internal partners (including Marketing and Manufacturing).
Develops and maintains timing and action plans for projects of broad scope with little to no guidance from project managers (PMs).
Determine the appropriate path for the projects, organize and facilitate necessary team meetings, produce minutes, and action items and keep management adequately informed.
Collaborates to develop and monitor program profit and loss (P&L) and key drivers that affect overall program financial health ensuring programs meet established objectives (e.
g.
margins, costs, revenue).
Leads cross-functional teams in pursuit of creative solutions to business-critical challenges/roadblocks.
Identifies, monitors, and recommends mitigation plans to project risk.
Prepares and communicates project status and risks to management with the proper level of detail and recovery plans.
Demonstrates increased knowledge of tools and techniques in the fields of program and project management.
Adheres to new product development processes.
Follows standardized guidelines and templates to ensure robust project plans and maintains documentation as required by the new product development process.
Demonstrates extensive cross-functional knowledge of business operations to effectively manage risks, coordinate project activities, and make appropriate decisions.
Coordinates with senior program managers to ensure dependencies and critical paths are identified and communicated.
Exposure to and ability to grasp basic technologies and engineering/manufacturing processes involved in product development Will work on-site, must be within commuting distance 10% travel The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.

You also have: Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in project management and leadership roles New product development experience Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
Prior experience with basic business financial knowledge Strong focus and proven ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments.
Demonstrated familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.
g.
, Critical Path).
Demonstrated familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning.
