Position Overview
As a Product Manager at Ventev Mobile, you will be a dynamic, driven team leader responsible for bringing
mobile device accessories to the market, from inception to launch, working with manufacturing partners
domestic and abroad.
The Project Manager will be an expert in developing and launching new innovative
consumer products for both brick-and-mortar retail and online markets.
The Product Management team owns
the product pricing and placement as well as technical/feature specifications for new products based on long-
term product vision, customer needs, technical and market trends, and our business goals.
Duties/Responsibilities
Manage and drive multiple product category roadmaps within Ventev’s Mobile Power accessories
portfolio
Identify gaps in the existing offer and competitive landscape
Develop and define new product ideas and pitch to key stakeholders
Project manage new product development; drive the project timeline and budget for each product;
lead cross functional teams in Packaging, Channel, Marketing, Sourcing and Engineering
Work with manufacturing partners in Asia from brief, to prototype, off tool, final samples, and
production stages
Pitch project status and updates to leadership team regularly as part of Milestone process for obtaining
financial backing
Work with Channel partners to segment product offering and identify bundle and promo opportunities
Work with Channel, Packaging and Marketing partners to:
o Drive Go-To-Market activities including building presentations to pitch buyers across multiple
channels and regions with the end consumer in mind
o Position product and features to drive sell-in for given channel/region
Utilize solid business acumen to execute good business decisions in a fast-paced environment,
including pricing, end-of-life, project business cases and overall portfolio profitability and gross margins
Travel domestically and internationally for trade shows, market research, customer visits, and more

Education and Experience
BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields
MBA or Masters
3-5 years of product management experience in consumer products (and success in managing cross-
functional project teams
Experience with B2C channels
Negotiator who is always driving for cost reduction and savings
Consumer electronics experience
Experience with national retail
