*Responsibilities:* * Responsible for moving required materials from defined storage or staging areas to workspace using material handling equipment including manual and motorized pallet jacks/walkies.
* Packaging of final product into end-user containers per approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Keeps accurate logs (both written and on computer) following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
* Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
* Demonstrates ability to set-up, operate and clean production equipment including weighing scales, hand-filling equipment, Integrated Fill Lines (IFL) and Bagging equipment (SpeeDee & All-Fills).
* Requires monitoring of critical meters, gauges and displays for process parameters (ie.
temperature, humidity, RPMs).
* Maintains accurate production records, which include operation/cleaning logs, batch history records, Label reconciliation, work order information and other pertinent data.
* Responsible for assuring final product is within final weight tolerance as specified per IMW A163.
* Use independent judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, trouble-shoot and problem solve in areas on set up, operations, and processes.
* Demonstrate the ability to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs and use calibration equipment and machine operations.
* Must follow all BD and DCM safety policies and procedures.
* Must be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements.
* Performs other duties as DCM operations required.
*Minimum Qualification* * High school graduate or equivalent.
* Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging and/or warehouse environment.
* Must be capable of performing heavy lifting/handling during a 10 hr.
shift; 1-5 lb.
- 70% ; 5-25 lbs.
-30% * Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs 50% to 95% of the workday.
* Must be capable of passing the physical examination for forklift operations and respirator fit test.
