DPSCS desires individuals that possess a minimum of Five (5) years of engineering, design, and implementation experience with at least one of the following in a large scale environment of 10,000 users or more.
The following skillsets are required, at a minimum, to support DPSCS, and may be specified in a Work Order.
* System programming, installation, configuration, customization, and maintenance of IBM CICS TS online system, utilizing the software tools: SMP/E, TSO/E, JES2, TCP/IP and ASG TMON system monitoring for performance.
* Knowledge of CICS internals and concepts.
* Experience using RDO, CPSM, and CICS Facilities (CEMT, CEDF, CECI, etc.
)
* Knowledge of IBM DB2, IMS, WebSphere MQ software products as they pertain to CICS.
* System programming, installation, configuration, customization and maintenance of CICS-related third-party software products (AbendAid, Xpediter, TMON/CICS, etc.
)
* Software installation, configuration, and maintenance of DB2 and IMS database management systems.
* Database backup and recovery support for DB2 and IMS databases and VSAM files.
* Installing, customizing, and maintaining other third-party software products.
* Developing and supporting system exits and utility programs, if needed.
* Systems programming, installation, configuration, customization and maintenance of CICS, DB2 and IMS and the supporting programs, utilizing SMP/E, TSO/E, and JES2.
