MANUFACTURING MAKING START-UP LEADER
HUNT VALLEY, MARYLAND
Coty is looking for a Manufacturing Making Start Up Leader to join our team in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
This role will be responsible for the technical start-up of new product Innovation and Non-Innovation projects in the Hunt Valley plant.
THE ROLE In this role you will be responsible for: Lead Making Technical Initiative readiness meetings with multi-functional team; provide detailed follow-ups/next steps and timelines for stakeholders to execute discussed action items Manage project milestone tracker and calendar of all Making Initiative activities Schedule Making Initiative events in downtime tracker and work with Planning to ensure timing is aligned Ensure Making readiness for all Initiative testing, validations and start of production Plan and execute line trials in Making, including coordination of timing with internal and external plant resources.
Ensure required documentation is complete and approved Represent making during FMEA – invite making team individuals when needed Work with fill/pack start-up leader to keep initiatives on track Maintain database of Making systems and capabilities Collaborate with R&D Process and Formulation resources to ensure products are developed and scale up appropriately to HV Manufacturing Making system capabilities Support R&D Process during HV OTC Making manufacturing process; ensuring validation documents are complete, approved, and timely Attend monthly Initiative Innovation Reviews with Plant Manager QUALIFICATIONS We’d love to see candidates who have: Essential: BA/BS Degree in a Science Discipline or equivalent relevant experience 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrates a strong sense of individual accountability Is autonomous, action oriented and pragmatic Demonstrates strong leadership and influencing skills Is results oriented and skilled in managing prioritization Strong project management skills to include initiating change, time management, problem solving, coordination and communication Knowledge of Liquids Processes – Emulsions, Suspensions, Wax Base Formulations Knowledge in cosmetics manufacturing preferred General skills in the Information Technology systems supporting the manufacturing and initiative delivery work Working knowledge of SAP preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project) WHAT WE OFFER This is unique role with a genuine opportunity to make an impact.
