Accounts Payable Team Lead

Beynon Sports Surfacing is the leader in sport surfacing in the United States.
Our surfaces are found in the most prestigious track and field facilities reputed collegiate campuses, high schools and city park.
We are currently looking for a Accounts Payable lead to join our team.
This role will report directly to the Controller.
Responsible for accounts payable function to include data entry of invoices daily, setting up new venders and coding for proper account distribution.
Position requires accounting knowledge and understanding of general office procedures as it relates to a construction environment.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Typically uses word processing and excel spreadsheet software.
*Key responsibility areas (by order of importance)* *1.
* *Accounts Payable: *Provide proper account distribution on invoices, maintain approval process prior to entering in Sage/MAS.
This includes Texas invoices.
Pull invoices and attach to check payments weekly, file and mail checks.
*2.
* *Support for Billing Specialist:* Assist the Assistant Controller by emailing invoices and any other necessary forms to the customer.
Timeliness is important.

* *Backup Support for Timekeeping:* Due to the seasonally of our business, summer months require additional help with entering timecards for the installation crews and manufacturing department.
Support Payroll with this effort when needed.
*Supervision* 1 Accounts Payable Clerk *Qualifications* Education: 2 year College Degree in Accounting or higher Experience in lieu education will be considered Number of years of relevant work experience: 3 years’ experience in similar role: accounts payable experience in a construction/manufacturing environment is a definite asset.
Competencies: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – intermediate level in Excel, effective interpersonal skills and excellent organizations skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and willing to be a Team Player.
Sage/MAS100 accounting software experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.
00 - $65,000.
