The focus of the position will be to coordinate PM, APM and TPM activities, resources and materials, by proactively communicating with operations concerning maintenance activities that impact production line availability and working with the Crew Leaders & Team Manager’s to coordinate and update schedule changes and resource availability.
This position will accurately estimate jobs, define material requirements and update job plans as needed based on feedback from team members RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the CMMS database to ensure work orders are documented, executed upon and closed with the correct data entered into the system.
Ensure support for equipment related improvement schedules to include PM’s, APM’s, AM & FI schedules.
creating a job planning package for all non-emergency planned work orders, submitting orders, verifying receipts of all requested parts for planned activities, assembling parts kits for Utility Mechanics.
Role is accountable for maintaining inventory minimum levels, parts re-orders, parts receiving, purchasing and the restocking of parts.
Capable of creating and managing purchase orders, acquiring quotes and managing lead times.
Manages the creation of PO’s for the department and blanket PO’s for annual support agreement Must possess the mechanical aptitude for identifying parts accurately and the utilization of a standardized naming nomenclature Maintaining inventory minimum levels, parts reorder, receiving, purchasing and restocking.
Conduct quarterly inventory cycle counts and report accuracy.
Managing and prioritizing an accurate work order backlog and tracking costs for all planned work.
Technical knowledge of existing equipment to plan the work required to meet equipment reliability & process reliability goals.
Communicating the maintenance schedules, generating reports, measuring PM schedule compliance and other key performance metrics, Participating in meetings impacting maintenance planning; procedure development and documentation.
The participating and leading Job Safety Risk Analysis and documenting all major repairs with recommendations for proper safety tools, devices, and work methods included in the planning of work.
This position will require flexibility with shift and work day assignments to support business need requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
Five years of maintenance, manufacturing experience and/or maintenance scheduling and planning experience Clerical and accounting skills required, proficient in CMMS systems, SAP, Chase and Ariba.
Must have good customer service skills, knowledge of store room indicators and measures for parts usage Basic understanding of the supply chain for maintenance equipment is required.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and provide creative solutions to problems.
Experience in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Must have knowledge and experience with packaging equipment.
CMMS experience needed.
Ability to develop reports to track equipment performance and monitor maintenance execution.
Intermediate to advanced capability with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Chase CMMS and SAP.
Excellent attendance required.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, and machine maintenance manuals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Technical degree or training, leadership experience, planning and Autonomous Maintenance experience.
