Job Description The Buildings + Places Division of AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Architecture Senior Project Manager to join our office in Hunt Valley, MD.
Experience on all phases and aspects of large and complex scale projects required.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Being responsible for the overall management administration to project and assisting in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
Providing management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforcing company and project policies, and acting as a primary liaison between AECOM and client.
Overseeing subordinate managers and supervisors to ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Administering projects from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout.
Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BA/BS Architecture Degree + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Maryland State and County agencies preferred, but not required.
LEED AP- Sustainability, resiliency and/or climate adaptation experience preferred, but not required.
Aviation experience preferred, but not required.
Additional Information It is essential for the candidate to be a team player and to establish a strong dialogue with the Design Principals as well as other Project Managers.
