Job Description The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a Senior Project Inspector the employee will be assigned to District 4 Construction Office of Construction in Hunt Valley, MD.
This position is expected to begin in June 2022.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Supervising daily activities and assignments of inspection staff Conduct Progress Meeting with Contractor Ability to write and review contract change orders and perform minor design work A working knowledge and ability to review a CPM Schedule Oversees and Perform field inspections to monitor road conditions, bridges, road construction, and traffic, and material using in road construction and repair Review’s construction, maintenance, or traffic projects for compliance with project specifications and plans Ability to read and understand construction drawings and the knowledge to be able to conduct constructability reviews Monitors contract performance and project status for major construction and maintenance projects Maintains records and prepares reports pertaining to public works installations and projects Compile quantities and reviews construction reports and other data Candidates will need to travel to project sites through Baltimore and Hereford Counties - AECOM does not provide fleet vehicles but will reimburse for milage.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High School + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications: 4 years of transportation construction inspection or similar inspection experience A minimum of 3 years of experience with State DOT Transportation Projects focusing on construction inspection and contract compliance Valid U.

Drivers' License Experience with of Microsoft Office programs Additional Information This position does not provide relocation or sponsorship Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (Hunt Valley, MD locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The hourly range for this position is $26 - $46/hr.
