Job Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer in our Hunt Valley, MD office.
What you will do:
The Electrical or Mechanical Engineer will support our municipal, industrial, and private clients in planning, engineering evaluation and design, permitting, construction-phase services, and program and operations support.
This position has the potential for a quick increase in responsibility.
Specific duties include:
Support electrical and mechanical design and implementation for fuel systems, water, wastewater, and solid waste projects that include task management (field/office) of designs, inspections, and construction phase services.
Manage and perform engineering design tasks such as engineering calculations and evaluations.
Prepare reports and perform alternatives analyses.
Develop engineering plans, specifications and implement projects.

What you will need:
BS/BA degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
2-10 years of experience with electrical or mechanical engineering associated with fuel systems, water/wastewater systems, pump stations, landfill leachate, and/or landfill gas systems.
Professional Engineer (P.
E.
), or Engineer-in-Training working towards a P.
E.
Design, permitting, and/or field experience with construction and commissioning required.
Experience with mechanical systems including power/controls and process controls, building automation.
Experience working with Authority’s Having Jurisdiction in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Knowledge of telemetry implementing Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) control systems design, Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs), and programming.
Practical experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including client facing communication.
