Job Description The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a Senior - Level Construction Oriented Engineer (TE III or higher) for immediate employment; the employee will be assigned to the SHA District 7 Office in Frederick, MD, conducting constructability reviews.
This qualified Engineer applicant will be providing support services to SHA’s District 7 Construction Department.
Additional duties would include assistance with process and pricing of change orders, requiring a knowledge of highway construction cost.
+ Conducting Constructability Reviews of Roadway Projects + Performing field visits as part of Constructability Reviews + Communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public + Assisting in processing change orders + Preparing independent cost estimates for Change Orders + Reviewing Change Order Documentation Qualified candidates should have + Good communication skills; oral and written.
+ Excellent time management skills; self-motivator, team oriented Qualifications Minimum Requirements: + High School plus 10yrs of Highway construction experience Preferred Requirements: + BA/BS Degree + Experience in construction related to transportation projects Additional Information + Relocation assistance is not available.

Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (Hunt Valley, MD locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
