Job Description The role of a Warehouse Assistant is to support our warehouse operations.
The Warehouse Assistant role plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and organized handling of materials, equipment, and products – overall shipping and receiving.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse environment.

This job requires a person who remains professional, organized, detail and task oriented, as well as precise, thorough, and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and labeling of materials and products.
Perform regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Work with manager and project managers with all shipping and receiving needs, hands, coordination and tracking.
Order Processing: Assist in picking and packing customer orders.
Prepare orders for shipping, ensuring they are accurate and well-packaged.
Coordinate with other teams to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and according to company guidelines.
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Data Entry and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all warehouse activities.
Assist with the preparation of shipping and receiving documents.
Generate reports and update databases as necessary.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
Communicate effectively with other departments to meet customer needs.
Other Duties: Other duties assigned within reason of current role previously specified.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus.
Forklift certification is preferred.
Deltek Costpoint experience preferred.
Familiarity with RF scanners and Bar code systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Security Clearances: This position may require a security clearance.
The clearance requirements are determined by the agency(s) in which you are assigned.
Convergint Federal will sponsor the level of clearance required.
However, it will be your responsibility to obtain and maintain your required level of clearance.
