SEEKING:
An experienced and seasoned Auto Mechanic/Technician who must be well-versed in all complex mechanical or electrical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
Candidates must have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and also be able to provide advice to customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required, 10-15 years experience working as a AUTO MECHANIC OR TECHNICIAN.
State Inspection License or ability to obtain one.
Other Automotive Manufacturers Certification or ASE Certification A PLUS.
Strong diagnostic skills.
Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
Maintain an organized and neat bay.
Adhere to all company policies, procedure, safety and environmental rules.
Responsibilities would include:
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.
) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.
g.
leaks)
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
Keep logs on work and issues
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
