HVAC Controls Electrician/Installer
SUMMARY:
Havtech is offering immediate full-time positions for self-motivated and experienced electricians to join our growing installation team.
This role involves all aspects of the installation process for building automation systems.
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, overtime may be required based on project needs
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Reading jobsite drawings (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to understand proper installation areas and requirements
Installing and terminating low voltage cable
Bending and installing conduit consisting of EMT, Ridgid, and PVC
Installation of panels to walls and HVAC equipment
Installing field devices such as sensors, thermostats, and damper actuators for HVAC equipment
Installing DDC controllers in panels
Reading Havtech generated wiring drawings to understand how to wire equipment
Willingness to learn and grow in the organization and support the team.
Utilizing various hand tools and equipment and maintains tools and equipment for proper functionality.
Some travel with occasional overnight stays.

Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.
Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrician field.
HVAC experience is a plus.
Electricians License strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Computer experience is required.
Familiarity with the concepts of new construction.
Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
Customer service oriented, able to interact with and build a good rapport with customers.
