Purpose:
Develop and implement strategies, goals and objectives through collaborative liaison with the Site Mgr.
, Quality Manager and all other Department Managers, in line with the Saft Corporate Continuous Improvement policy to achieve and sustain progress towards stated Saft World Class vision at all levels of the organization.
Coach and support the implementation of the Site policy deployment.
Guide and train the teams in the use of appropriate Continuous Improvement tools and processes in the organization to reach the business targets.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Site Management team to develop a continuous improvement culture, so everyone is involved in the Continuous Improvement effort.
Develop the main World Class actions & programs based on the policy deployment objectives and on recommendations developed in Continuous Improvement meetings.
Monitor information/communication on the Continuous Improvement actions, planning, priorities setting.
Inform, train (or organize trainings) and coach the teams on Continuous Improvement tools and methods
Lead complex workshops himself or with internal assistance
Support the implementation of the Corporate CI projects such as People, Innovation, TPM.
Liaise with the Corp.
CI team and communicate with the other CI Mgrs.
to provide information & share experience.
Develop and implement the auditing program of the Saft Continuous Improvement criteria
Be proactive in looking for external good practices and share them with the Saft World Class network
Identify training needs on Continuous Improvement tools & methods
Inform on and carry out the Continuous Improvement trainings for the employees - with the assistance of the Corporate team when needed.

Continuous improvement tools, principles and methods such as Quality improvement; Lean Manufacturing; Ergonomics issues
Minimum Requirements:
7-10 Years of Continuous Improvement/World Class experience
Engineer Degree or equivalent
Must be a US Citizen or Grenn Card Holder (Permanent Resident)
This position is fully on-site 5 days a week.
