Cable Assembly Manufacturing Engineer/Cost Estimator

We are ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D registered, and a veteran-owned small business (VOSB) *Your Responsibilities:* * Interpret RFQs to fully understand the scope of the project in order to assist with a “go/no-go” assessment * Work with customers when necessary to resolve issues that would prevent development of a quote * Interface with other departments to gather required information about component pricing, lead times, and manufacturing labor estimates * Maintain ownership of quote to ensure that it is completed accurately and on time *Your Qualifications:* * Outstanding organizational skills * Prior costing and quoting experience within the cable assembly industry preferred * Hands-on experience with wire harnesses or cable assembly production * Strong ability to read and interpret customer drawings and schematics * Excel wizardry a plus * Strong math skills needed to calculate pricing * Knowledge of wire & cable products, including bulk cable and connectors, is essential * Familiarity with government contracting, military hardware, and Prime Contractors is a plus You must be either a US Citizen or Resident Alien (Green Card holder) Control Cable is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to employing great people.
