CNC Lathe Machinist-4 DAY WORK WEEK!

We are minutes off the Baltimore Beltway (695 at exit 17) in a secure climate-controlled facility with all of the some of the best machines.
All of our products are made in this facility and found in some of the top winning racecars in the country!
We are currently looking for an experienced machinist to add to our exclusive team in a fast-paced and growing business leader in high- performance product technology.
We make the parts that make cars ready to race!
Job Requirements:
• Base manual machining ability
• Able to lift 40- 50 lbs.
regularly.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Understand new information at a rapid pace and apply it.
• Carefully follow written and/ or verbal instructions from Co- workers/ Supervisors
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.
• Strong work ethic
• Welding experience- Mig + Tig is a plus
Job Description of Responsibilities:
CNC Lathe Operator must be capable of reading drawings and making offset changes on their own.
Set up experience highly considered.
Must be able to check parts.
This position requires a solid grasp of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
Working on lathes such as Doosan GT2100M-3 Axis, Takisawa, TC20, TC200, TC350- all 3 axis with live tools; Takisawa TT-200 with robot loader, Mori Seiki Twin Spindle, Twin Turret live tool, 9 Axis with robot; Emag Vertical Spindle Turning Centers, Hitachi Seiki Vertical Spindle Turning Centers with auto loaders.
• Have machine shop/ metal working skills.
• Possess the ability to work with decimals.
• Be comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)
• Ability to setup your own jobs and run first part (in some positions)
• Ability to adjust programs as needed (in some positions)
