WLRC Medical is seeking a full-time Mechanic to join our team.
Our mechanics are responsible for maintaining our diesel and gas ambulance, wheelchair vans, busses, and other fleet vehicles.
Requirements:
Repair, troubleshooting and diagnosis of ambulances / emergency vehicles
Reconditioning, preventative and routine maintenance
Inspections and road tests
Diagnosis, inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components such as: brakes, suspension, tires, bearings, seals, radiators, water pumps, coolant hoses, alternators, regulators, steering components, oil/air filters, door assemblies, controls, seats, belts, electric motors, pneumatic valves, cables, and the specialized equipment in emergency vehicles.
Respond to road calls and cover weekends / evenings on a rotating schedule
Requirements
Proven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, and testing instruments
Minimum of two years experience
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
Must be 19 years or older
Must be available to work a rotating schedule of:
Week 1: Tuesday - Saturday 0800 - 1630
Week 2: Monday - Friday 0800 - 1630
