*PROJECT ESTIMATOR*
Raskin Built is looking to hire a detail-oriented estimator to maintain a healthy preconstruction pipeline.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Identify, qualify, and present potential bid projects to management.
* Manage bid calendar to maintain attainable and valuable pipeline.
* Perform takeoff, submit RFI, attend site visits, and communicate with customers throughout preconstruction.
* Prepare and complete proposals with clear inclusions and exclusions to manage company risk.
* Develop accurate internal quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction team.
* Identify long lead time and higher cost items via plan specifications.
* Conduct post bid contractor scope reviews.
* Maintain communication with customers throughout buyout process.
* Maintain professional relationships with general contractor.
* Lead turnover meetings to transition awarded projects to the construction team.
*EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:*
* 5+ years’ experience in construction estimation, finance, or operations.
* Understanding of construction phasing, mobilizations, and production rates
* Demonstrated ability to manage time, organize work, and engage with coworkers for input.
* High level understanding of Takeoff and spreadsheet software.
* Exceptional communication skills (written, phone, and in person), professionalism, and an ability to contextualize concrete construction concepts to others in unrelated disciplines.
