This is a full time, exempt position with a 4-day work week!
The Production Manager will report to the Plant Manager and is responsible for final part finishing operations and personnel.
This includes the quotation, design of operation, and pre-production planning phases of assembly fixture design.
This department includes laser welding, riveting, bonding, powder coating, and annealing operations.
The duties performed include, but are not limited to the following:
* Lead and manage a department of bonding/assembly technicians and heat treat operators.
* Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
* Develop, evaluate, and improve documenting procedures and processes.
* Fine-tune tooling and fixtures related to assembly.
* Troubleshoot production and quality problems.
* Optimize manufacturing operations and efficiency by identifying areas of improvement and implementing cost savings measures.
* Maintain material traceability and production records for department.
* Work with scheduling department to meet production deadlines and meet customer demands.
* Review quote feasibilities in conjunction with engineering and production.
* Assign work duties for production jobs to qualified employees.
* Schedule and document in-job training.
* Other duties as required.
*Required Skills/Abilities*
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
* Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents and understand all implied requirements.
* Possess strong communications skills with ability to collaborate with all levels of employees.
* Possess solid analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Familiar with geometric tolerances, and ability to use and understand precision measuring tools.
* Highly independent and motivated with exceptional organizational skills.
* Reliable work habits with a proven excellent attendance record.
*Education & Experience*
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
* Management experience required.
* Annealing and Heat Treat experience preferred.
* Bonding/adhesive and finished assembly experience preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Work, Excel, and Power Point.
* Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.
00 - $95,000.
