This is a full time, non-exempt position with a 4-day work week!
*Position Summary*
The Machine Operator is a flexible position and will report to the Stamping Supervisor.
This position will operate various mechanical and hydraulic machines and presses and will perform manual operations to support production demands.
The Machine Operator is responsible for producing high quality parts while maximizing machine run time and productivity in a manufacturing environment.
The duties performed may include, but are not limited to the following:
* Read information in job packet and interpret blueprint to specifications and tolerances for parts.
* Read and follow work instructions.
* Use measuring equipment, such as calipers and micrometers, to check accuracy of dimensions.
* Operate mechanical presses and hydraulic presses.
* Operate additional equipment such as laser cutting machines, manual mills, and annealing furnaces.
* Perform degreasing functions.
* Monitor output and proper operation of presses and machines.
* Perform routine quality checks during production runs.
* Recognize any unacceptable defects on parts and report issues to appropriate supervisor.
* Maintain required paperwork for traceability and AS9100C requirements.
* Follow proper safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
* Be cross-trained for a wide range of operations across different departments.

* Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents.
* Ability to use and understand precision measuring tools.
*Education & Experience*
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 1-2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Bonding & Assembly experience preferred.
* Punch Press experience preferred.
*Physical Requirements*
* Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.
00 - $25.
