Joppa Road 8th Floor, Towson, Maryland Tracking Code SP FT - SDI - 2024 Position Type Intern Seeking Undergraduate students seeking a full-time co-op OR a full or part-time internship during the fall / spring semester(s).
What It Takes Open to undergraduate students interested in gaining hands-on practical experience providing a risk analysis for qualification of trade partners.
Qualified applicants will assist our prequalification team in reviewing subcontractor prequalification profiles.
Assignments include daily office attendance in Towson, MD Work periods are 10-13 weeks; 40 hours/week (or part time < 40 hrs/week) Co-Op Job Description Reporting Relationship: Interns/co-ops will report to a department manager, coordinator, or analyst.
Tasks Assigned: You will be learning various aspects of risk analysis for financial, safety and other aspects of prequalification.
Your experience will include some or all the following: Utilizing prequalification software Reviewing subcontractor submissions for completeness & accuracy Engaging with trade partners & subcontractors for missing information Analyzing income & balance statements for risk evaluation Providing feedback to analysts and project teams on risk findings Attending weekly progress meetings Assisting with maintaining logs as required And any other duties that may be assigned Required Skills Required Skills: Technical Capabilities: Qualified candidates should be familiar with the following software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
