ATB located in Westminster, MD has an opportunity for a Production Manager.
SUMMARY: Responsible for planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
Job Functions:
Ensure effective employee relations.
Provide employee coaching and development.
Resolve employee issues through problem resolution
Establish and maintain schedules for production
Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
Ensure products meet customer requirements
Consult with Engineering staff to correct defective products and/ or processes
Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager
Maintain proper inventory levels and department priorities
Track absenteeism and timekeeping
Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional, courteous, respectful, ethical manner with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors
Demonstrates leadership through daily interaction
Participate and define continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency in production.
Requirements:
BS in engineering or 10 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
Previous leadership experience
Knowledge of Word and Excel
