Position Overview:
The Reliability Technician – Lubrication will be responsible for lubricating machines, in addition to managing the Lube Room/Cage, grease bearings, top-up machine reservoirs, and performing oil changes.
The technician will make and support decisions to upgrade and change lubricant specification, and reengineer or upgrade lubricant application hardware.
The role will also manage contamination control efforts for the site by maintaining breathers and filters, utilizing filter carts and other periodic decontamination technologies.
The technician will work closely with mechanics to troubleshoot machine problems that may be lubrication related.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs Reliability assessment, PM, PDM, CBM, Lubrication, creation and improvement of inspection routes and task development, Planning and scheduling support and analysis, RCA, FMEA, MMP, BDAs, Pillar support, Training material development.
Participates in cross-functional improvement teams and problem-solving activities
Serve as a Trainer and Mentor to Maintenance Technicians and Production Technicians as needed.
Investigate and communicate root cause failure analysis, including recommending and implement resolutions, and BDAs.
Read and interpret blueprints and manuals.

Adheres to safety/ GMP standards, ensuring a safe work environment and reporting food safety issues to the site leadership
Required Qualifications:
Acceptable attendance required
Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review.
High school diploma or equivalent
Thorough understanding of lube storage and handling, lubrication fundamentals and contamination control.
Ability to study and execute lubrication analysis tools and equipment.
Minimum 1 year maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to investigate and solve problems with advanced troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrates Planning skills through PM creation and editing, BOM development CMMS power user, Minitab and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of CMMS, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP
Experience with statistical data analysis
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in related discipline or proven experience.
Vocational Education or Technical Degree/Certification in Industrial Maintenance
5-7 years of experience
