This role exists as a combination of three positions that are closely aligned in terms of function and responsibilities.
The HR Generalist responsibilities include a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department.
The main focus will be processing payroll and processing invoices received for payment.
Both payroll and accounts payable processing must be accurate, efficient, and timely.
Problem solving whether employee payroll inquiries or creditor inquiries is key to being successful in this role.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience processing payroll with ADP
* Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Time management skills, managing priorites, and attention to detail
* Accounts payable experience
* HR Generalist experience
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
* Must be a US citizen or green card holder and legally permitted to work in the US
* This is a fully on-site position 5 days per week
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for bi-weekly payroll by entering, maintaining, and processing information into the payroll system.
Information may include employee's hourly rates, salaries, bonuses, or other compensation, time worked, paid leave/holidays, deductions, tax withholdings, address changes, benefits, garnishments, and other deductions or information.
* Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires and terminations.
* Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts verifying quantities and pricing.
* Process returned material and credit memos.
* Work closely with Procurement, Shipping, and end users to resolve any billing discrepancies.
* Communicate with vendors and resolve issues.
* Identify and assign account distribution and process freight bills.
* Verify and process temporary agency bills against posted time and approved rates.
* Identify and assign account distribution and process other non-PO requests such as check requests and miscellaneous vendor billings.
* Process invoice payments in a timely manner.
Verify and prepare international wire requests.
* Perform other HR related duties as assigned.
