Job Title: Live-In Nanny
We are looking for a live-in nanny to care for our 4-year-old twins in our comfortable townhome located in Columbia, MD, Howard County.
You will have your own furnished room with a queen bed, linens, bedding, table, dresser, hangers in the closet, towels, laundry basket, and more.
All you need to bring are your clothes and personal items.
Responsibilities:
* Morning Routine: Assist in getting the children ready for school, including breakfast, dressing, and ensuring they are prepared for the day.
* After-School Care: Pick up the children from school around 3:30 PM, provide supervision, nutritious meals, and assist with homework or lessons.
* Transportation: Safely drive the children to and from their activities, such as sports practices, extracurricular classes, and playdates.
* Bedtime Routines: Help with bedtime routines, including preparing the children for bed, reading stories, and ensuring a calm and peaceful sleep environment.
* Household Support: Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children's areas, such as tidying up toys and laundry.
Requirements:
* Experience: Previous experience working with children and a genuine love for childcare.
* Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
* First Aid/CPR Certification: Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certification, which can be completed on the job.
* Availability: Ideal candidate should be available during the early mornings (7-9 AM) before school, from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM when the children return, and either work every other weekend all day or every Saturday (9 AM to 6 PM).
* Education/Work: Ability to attend school or pursue other work during the school day, as the children will be in school during that time.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent high school graduate or a college student, possibly attending Howard Community College (HCC).
