This is a nice, pretty fast kayak.
Honestly, I would not suggest this kayak if you have NEVER kayaked before.
It can "feel" narrow and takes some getting used-to.
Once you're comfortable, it's a lot of fun, and it glides/steers very well.
The retractable keg keeps it true, even in breezes.
The price INCLUDES a hatch cover with strap, and a skirt.
