Toddlers Assistant Teacher

Glen Mar Early Learning Center is a church-based Early Learning Center located in Elliott City, MD.

Applicants must meet all licensing requirements for open positions.
* 45-hour Infant and Toddler Certification (required for Infant and Todd Lead teachers and highly preferred for assistant teachers) * 90 -Hour Preschool Certification (required for Preschool lead teachers and highly preferred for assistant teachers) * 1 year working in the childcare field * High school diploma * ADA Course * Basic Health and Safety Training * Valid CPR and First Aid Certifications (preferred) Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: * Dependable with a positive and professional work ethic.
* Reliable transportation.
* Plans and carries out developmentally appropriate lessons and executes activities for the respective age group teacher is working with.
* Responsive to the needs of each child and their family.
* Develops and maintains positive communication and relationships with families.
* Supervises children and maintains a safe conducive environment for learning and development.
* Follows and complies with all MSDE Licensing standards.
* Works well in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
50 - $20.
