We are
seeking a Leadership Learning Consultant who is adept at tailoring leadership learning in a fast-
paced, collaborative, and transformative environment to meet the needs of workers and
organizations applying information technology to the government sector.
Job Summary:
You will join an existing team of learning specialists equipping the workforce at the Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid Services with knowledge and skills in the areas of human centered-
design, product management, cloud computing, cybersecurity, machine learning and artificial
intelligence to aid in their mission to serve the American public.
In addition to delivering learning
experiences in your areas of expertise, you will collaborate with other program staff on multi-
disciplinary offerings and scaling the program.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deliver leadership learning experiences tailored for technology, policy and service professionals.
Lead workshops, training sessions, coaching sessions and other educational initiatives focused on leadership in the context of technology work.
Engage in ongoing professional learning, staying updated on trends in leadership development and technology.
Collaborate with technology teams, HR departments, and senior management to align leadership programs with organizational goals.
Utilize a variety of instructional design methodologies to create dynamic and interactive learning experiences.
Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives and make data-driven improvements.
Pair with other learning specialists to innovate and deliver an integrated program that includes offerings in human centered-design, product management, cloud computing, cybersecurity, machine learning and artificial intelligence along with leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; or in Computer Science, machine learning, Information Systems or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership development, preferably within a technology or government context.
Proven experience in instructional design and delivering leadership training and/or coaching programs.
Proven leadership role in the development and/or operations of technology solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants of varying skill levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a related field.
Experience in a federal agency or similar government setting.
Certifications in leadership coaching or adult education.
Demonstrated ability to innovate in leadership development strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Experience with digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches.
Familiarity with Training from the Back of the Room (TBR) training approaches
