JOB TITLE: Career and Technical Education (CTE) Site Coordinator - MILFORD MILL ACADEMY
REPORTS TO: Principal
DEFINITION: Under the direction of the principal and CTE office, provides leadership and daily support to school-based staff and community stakeholders while working closely in the planning, monitoring, developing, and implementing of the site’s CTE programs.
Leads the implementation of Youth Apprenticeship Maryland, ACTE Quality CTE Framework, NAPE PIPE, and improve accountability for Methods of Administration/Consolidated Plans; Perkins V, and Blueprint for Maryland.
Provides daily instructional support to teachers and staff, assists with professional development activities, and monitors CTE data, student engagement, equity, and access.
Responsible for the related instruction and curriculum development of the Apprenticeship Maryland Coursework.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Attend monthly CTE Site Coordinator Meetings.
Lead the related instructional components of the Apprenticeship Maryland Program (AMP) and in development of related curriculum for Youth Apprenticeship opportunities.
Develop and facilitate program advisory/planning committees of key stakeholders, including parents, students, faculty, school administration, and community and partnership representatives with the CTE teachers.
Implement yearly National Alliance for Partnerships for Equity (NAPE) Program Improvement Process for Equity (PIPE) program.
Prepare Perkins plan and monitor strategic measures.
Prepare strategic plan for Blueprint for Maryland progress.
Work with the advisory/planning committee and the Office of CTE staff to develop promotional materials, plan events, develop business/community partnerships, conduct outreach and recruitment, and monitor enrollment and other relevant data.
Research and disseminate literature to school-based staff on areas related to the specific CTE programs such as content and standards-based curriculum, technology integration, value-added certifications, and innovational instructional approaches.
Assist the Office of CTE staff to coordinate data collection for student certifications, student recognition ceremony, and equipment inventory.
Serve as the CTE liaison between the school and the Office of CTE.
Serve as the CTE program point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate site related CTE activities for staff and students (e.
g.
, student recruitment, summer program, speaker series, job shadowing opportunities, field experiences, professional development, and advisory/planning meetings).
Support the installation of software and is the CTE/Fine Arts school point of contact for technology support.
May support the school by instructing and supervising students in a variety of school-related settings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, Training, and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
Five years of successful teaching experience in a related area to the position duties.
Licenses and Certificates: Possession of, or eligibility for, a Maryland Professional Certificate.
Possession of, or eligibility for, Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate and requisite course content required for an endorsement in the subject field preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of the principles and practices of pedagogy.
Knowledge of curriculum.
Knowledge of effective instructional techniques.
Knowledge of instructional materials and equipment.
Knowledge of CTE programs, articulations, and certifications.
Knowledge of current issues and trends in content area.
