Montessori Preschool Teacher

Pinebrook Montessori is seeking a Lead Montessori Teacher.
Our program emphasizes relationships between teachers and students and developmentally appropriate practice.
We are committed to the health of our students and entire school community and have implemented rigorous safety measures to operate in person which mandates mask wearing as well as following our safety protocol.
- Responsibilities and Duties * Provide a safe and developmentally appropriate program that agrees with the Montessori philosophy and all legal guideline * Model an appropriate social behavior, including Grace and Courtesy, conflict resolution, academic skills and the complete range of a Montessori curriculum \* Contributing positively to the school community and fully supporting the school’s mission and goals * Teach in the classroom with support from other teachers * Conduct parent conferences and progress reports * Observations of students to ensure progress and plan presentations for individualized work * Ensure the safety of all students * Provide nurturing bonds with all students * Effective communication with all families * Attend school events/ open houses * Montessori Certification thru AMS/AMI * 2-5 years of preschool teaching experience * Excellent written and communication skills * Strong leadership and supervisory skills * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Commitment to the highest level of facility safety and cleanliness Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.
