Preschool Aide

Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans - Provide care and support for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being - Help students with math concepts and problem-solving skills - Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other staff members - Work with students on the autism spectrum, providing necessary support and accommodations - Manage behavior in the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment - Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean and organized space - Utilize experience working with children to create engaging and educational activities - Support literacy education by assisting students with reading and writing tasks - Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop individualized plans for students who require additional support Qualifications: - Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting - Strong knowledge of lesson planning and implementation strategies - Familiarity with toddler care and development milestones - Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues - Experience working with students on the autism spectrum is a plus - Proficiency in behavior management techniques - Excellent classroom management skills - Knowledge of math concepts and ability to teach them to young learners - Understanding of literacy education principles We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
