is hiring for an *immediate opening *for a floater teacher with experience in ECE .
We are looking for a silly, smiley and extremely loving teacher to join the YJNP family.

Summary: The floater teacher is an in house substitute that will be available to help in any class when a teacher is out or taking their lunch break.
We have classes including infants and toddlers, preschoolers, before and after school children, and summer campers.
In addition, this individual will oversee the maintenance and stock of supplies and materials for our school and teachers.
This individual will make runs to the store and library to ensure that the school has what it needs in order to operate smoothly.

* Extremely neat and organized with excellent communication skills

*Responsibilities* *may include, but are not limited to, the following*:
* Create a fun and positive classroom for learning and exploration
* Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
* Create inspiring and age appropriate lesson plans to advance children’s physical and intellectual competence
* Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
* Establish positive and effective family relations
* Ensure an effective program, responsive to children’s needs
* Maintain professional commitment
*Requirements:*
* MDSE Qualified 45 Hour Child Development-45 Hour Preschool Curriculum
* One year of teaching experience
* Ability to independently manage a classroom as the only teacher required to meet the ratio for that room
*General Qualifications*
Teachers must meet the qualifications set forth in the National Standards for hiring (see www.
bls.
gov), including the following:
* Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
* Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
* Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
* Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
* Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
* Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
* Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations'
