Gerstell Academy is seeking a Middle School English Teacher with leadership experience for the 2024-2025 academic year.
This full-time position includes the possibility of teaching students in grades six through eight.
Duties will include teaching Gerstell Academy’s Mission, Motto, Leadership Principles and Attributes, teaching English courses, department work, curriculum mapping, serving as a student advisor, and other duties as assigned or needed to develop the Middle School program.
The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in English or related field and will have the ability to teach English as an academic course as well as a vehicle to teach leadership education and character development.
Prior teaching experience with the capacity to teach Middle School courses strongly preferred.
