Play and Learn is seeking positive, energetic, and nurturing Childcare Aides and Teachers! Our Childcare Aides will supervise and manages a group of children in cooperation with the Center Teachers.
Duties and Responsibilities: 1.
Manages classroom ensuring compliance with all MSDE-OCC regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
2.
Plans, adapts and schedules age-appropriate curriculum involving various activities to stimulate the children’s cognitive skills, abilities and development.
3.
Provides continuous supervision to children to ensure the health and safety of children.
4.
Maintains classroom and play areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
5.
Records daily observations of children’s behavior and activities; monitors behavioral patterns and develops assessment and profiles.
6.
Cooperates with other staff to maintain the smooth functioning of the center, which at times may require changes to meet the needs of the children.
*We are open 6:30am-6:30pm M-F.
Individual shifts depend on the exact position applied for.
