Teaching Assistant (TA)

Emmanuel Methodist Preschool is currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing educator to join our team.
Candidates should have a passion for working with children and have an eagerness to learn and grown within the profession.
Experience and education in early child education or child development is highly recommended.
Responsibilities Include: * Working alongside the lead teacher to plan, prep, and implement age and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
* Creating a warm, positive and welcoming learning environment.
* Engaging and interacting with children to support play, exploration and learning.
* Participating in staff meetings and professional development.
* Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and staff.
Qualifications Include: * A minimum of a high school diploma (an Associates or Bachelor's degree in ECE or CD preferred) * A minimum of 1 year experience * 90 hour certification preferred * Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills Benefits Include: * Paid time off * Paid holidays * Training and professional development reimbursement * 4% non-matching 401K * Health benefits This is full-time Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm and includes summers.
