These black leather Converse Chuck Taylor basketball/fashion shoes are a Men’s size 11 in excellent condition! These were custom made with purple highlights- black leather with subtle purple stitching, purple leather back stripe, purple inside of tongue and shoe.
They are all black leather with black on black star image on outside wall of shoes, and black toes.
You will never find a pair like these and black leather ones aren’t made anymore! They look all black from just a few feet away.
Soles are barely worn at all (see pictures) Toes are black rubber and unscuffed or marked.
There is a stitched name (of my old business) on the back outside corner by heel stitched in dark purple not visible from even a foot away -I worked with children and performed under name Drum-N-Fun which is what they say (see picture taken very up close) I was actually mad you couldn't see this! Chucks are very popular right now and these are a great conversation piece! These look great with an all black outfit or black and white or purple.
Very styling! Chuck Taylor All-Stars or Converse All Stars (also referred to as "Converse", "Chuck Taylors", "Chucks", "Cons", "All Stars", and "Chucky Ts") are a model of casual shoe manufactured by Converse (a subsidiary of Nike, Inc.
since 2003) that was initially developed as a basketball shoe in the early 20th century.
The design of the Chuck Taylor All Star has remained largely unchanged since its introduction in the 1920s.
The shoe consists of a stitched upper portion, a toe cap that is usually made of white rubber, and a sole that is usually made of brown rubber.
Although Chuck Taylors are made of various materials such as leather, the original and most widely known version of the shoe is made from cotton canvas.
The innovative detail of the original shoe was the "loose lining" of soft canvas that was intended to provide flexibility and prevent blisters.
Note: I would not recommend wearing these for basketball ;-) These don't have original inserts - you can get supportive inserts from $12+ or custom Orthodics Thanks for looking.
