A wonderfully handsome mid-century-modern solid crystal polar bear with with a powerful extended neck and four solid feet that have been ground at the very edge.
Made by Maleras, a Swedish company renowned for their fine crystal and blown glass.
This critter no longer has his Maleras label affixed, but he's absolutely a Maleras bear.
This captivating bjorn (Swedish for "bear") has a finely made symmetrical body with a pulled tail.
Catches and reflects light beautifully.
The vintage figurine measures 4.
5" tall x 2.
5" wide x 7.
25" long, and it has no chips or cracks.
The base has been ground and it is highly polished to a clear finish.
I found it really difficult to get good photos of this fellow.
