Job Description
This position within Specialty Catalysts Finance is the key business partner to the global Grace Licensing business.
The position also manages Specialty Catalyst Selling, General, and Administrative (SG&A) expenses.
Responsibilities
Support Vice President, Licensing and Specialty Catalysts, Finance Director as Finance business partner for global Grace Licensing business.
Lead and manage Licensing business financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting including full P&L and working capital-related collections for Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecast, and actual results.
Manage monthly licensing revenue forecast and transform billings file into global cash collections forecast incorporating withholding taxes and customer payment term impacts.
Develop and present monthly financial P&L and collections management review presentation.
Facilitate resolution of financial issues across the licensing business as they arise including analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
This may include data gathering, analysis and solution determination.
Lead efforts to improve Licensing financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
Support monthly Specialty Catalysts and Grace Management Operating Reviews (MOR) presentations.
Learn the Licensing commercial/operations connections and impacts across the business.
Lead and manage Specialty Catalysts SG&A expense financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting including full P&L and working capital-related collections for Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecast, and actual results.
Support Vice President, Business Human Resources in headcount forecasting.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance business-oriented experience in medium / large multinational corporation - progressing in finance/accounting and working in a matrixed environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
SAP and related systems (BPC, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), etc.
)
Microsoft Office Suite capabilities (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to interact effectively with executives, management, and functional peer groups and to gain cooperation from others
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate/present issues and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, excellent business acumen
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be highly organized, detail oriented, able to multitask, prioritize, and respond when sense of urgency is present
Team oriented and capable of collaborating across multiple functions within the organization
Ability to interact with all Finance functions – Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury
Confident with strong interpersonal, influencing, and time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management
Possess the ability to work independently and exercise own judgment
Dynamic, flexible, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to motivate and drive results
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks/deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with customer contract revenue recognition principals a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant business finance experience
