Financial Planning Associate

*Job Description* Oliver Wealth Management is seeking a full-time Financial Planning Associate at our office in Towson, MD.
This position will provide operational, administrative and paraplanning support to the firm’s financial advisors and operations team.
The ideal candidate has back-office experience in an investment advisory firm and wants to gain financial planning skills and experience as they progress in their career in financial advice.
*Work responsibilities will include the following:* * Answering phones and helping resolve client service issues * Scheduling client meetings * Scanning and saving documents and notes * Completing paperwork and tracking its progress to completion * Reviewing and interpreting client’s financial statements * Entering data into financial planning software * Preparing preliminary financial planning recommendations * Maintaining notes from client interactions in client management system * Drafting notes, emails, and letters to clients * Researching financial planning topics *Traits we are looking for:* * Coachable with a commitment to ongoing learning * Attention to detail and organizational ability * Clear, professional and polite communication with clients and team members * Effective and efficient time management * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks * Comfortable learning new technology * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Effective analytical and research skills * Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Excel * Ability to study for and pass exams *Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree is required.
* 2+ years of experience in a paraplanning/operations/administrative role at an investment advisory practice is required.
* Desire to pursue CFP designation is required.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.
00 - $70,000.
