POSITION SUMMARY:
The Broker Select, Sales Support position will manage business processing for the fully insured and self-funded platforms.
This individual will focus on expediting the proposal & case submission process by maintaining and developing relationships with internal sales consultants and brokers.
The Sales Support will make every effort to free up the Broker and Account Manager’s time to maximize their time spent in the field.
This position is in office with a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home after training requirements have been met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a rapport with the Account Manager/Broker Partners to complement what is happening at the renewal sales consultant/retention level.
QUOTING
Quoting and counseling for Account Managers for small/large fully insured & self-funded businesses.
Receive census and current group information for new prospects for quote requests.
Coordinate & distribute requests for proposals (RFP) and responses.
Initiating and coordinating the completion of questionnaires, rate comparisons and audits, spreadsheets, and other requirements for presentation to the client.
Log the appropriate systems for quoting and service activity.
CASE SUBMISSION
Data preparation and review to submit to the carriers in addition to data entry into multiple online systems/programs.
Process renewals and new business as needed from start to finish including but not limited to transitioning clients to/from fully insured to self-funded platforms (vice or versa).
Coordination of carrier case submission with carriers/general agencies.
Contacting and following up with clients, account managers/brokers, and carriers for information required to complete, process, and finalize new or renewal business paperwork.
ONGOING SUPPORT
Provide sales support to brokers, broker reps, and account managers to enhance sales opportunities for the company including (but not limited to) internal services, technology, use of all quoting engines, and following carrier requirements.
Logging all renewals and new business information into the appropriate logs/systems.
Audit data.
Generate reports on new business and renewals to monitor the accuracy and activity.
Audit account reports listings/invoices/data as needed.
Monitor various reports for consistency.
Coordinate enrollment materials for client enrollment meetings.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in Insurance, Finance, Mortgage Underwriting, or Commercial Banking support roles.
MGA (Managing general agent) experience preferred.
Sales and/or significant customer service track record.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Solid math skills are essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational & problem-solving skills are required.
Strong follow-up skills are required.
Ability to pivot quickly as needed due to day-to-day changes.
