The Controller is responsible for accounting and finance functions including general accounting, financial planning & analysis, management reporting, internal controls, payroll, and risk management.

This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Finance and requires exceptional leadership and analytical skills.

Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee the implementation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic initiatives and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to drive informed decision-making.
Lead the company’s strategic planning and budgeting process.
Accounting Operations Oversight: Direct, supervise and serve as backup on all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, taxes and payroll - ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses to executive management and stakeholders, providing valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and tax laws, collaborating with internal and external auditors as needed.
Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives, driving growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to support key business decisions, investments, and resource allocations.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to empower team members to excel in their roles and contribute to the organization's success.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
10 years of proven experience in a financial leadership role, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
