The Bookkeeper processes the financial transactions of the organization.

Communication
Fulfill various duties as determined by the finance team members
Triage paper into appropriate paperless format
Route vendor bills for approval using bill payment software
Email reminders expense reports
Communicate with donors about their activity and update for accuracy
Staff Interaction
Collect documentation and approval per policies
Bookkeeping
Count, code, and record donations received using database software
Collect, code, and route for approval vendor bills for payment using online software
Triage inquiries using multiple support ticketing system
Communicate heavily with donors to ensure the database of donations accurately reflects all donations
Review and approve employee credit card charges using Expensify.
com; follow up with employees to ensure monthly deadlines are met
Manage document and file retention
Manage integrations of apps
Assist with Month End and Year End close as necessary

Education and Experience
Minimum 2+ years experience, non-profit experience preferred
Experience in financial database systems, QuickBooks Online, Bill.
com, Expensify.
com, preferred.
Intermediate user of Microsoft Office and Google preferred
Good communication skills
High School Diploma
