POSITION SUMMARY:
We seek a certified Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights driving strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate will conduct thorough lifecycle analyses, develop reporting capabilities, and implement data-driven strategies for optimization.
Reporting to the Director of Credit Administration, this role collaborates with various stakeholders to interpret trends and identify improvement opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interpret loan data, providing both spot analytics and automation for ongoing reports (monthly, quarterly).
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies for statistical efficiency.
Aggregate data from primary and secondary sources, maintaining databases and data systems.
Analyze and interpret loan performance trends, creating clear graphics to communicate key data characteristics.
Clean and filter data, identifying and correcting input or coding issues.
Utilize analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
, to enhance data analysis and visualization.
Collaborate with commercial banking relationship managers, portfolio managers, senior managers, credit officers, risk management, and IT personnel internally, as well as external due diligence vendors, clients, attorneys, private equity sponsors, and related parties to address data-related needs and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science.
Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Strong knowledge of reporting packages, databases, and programming languages.
Experience with statistical packages for analyzing datasets (e.
g.
, Excel, SPSS, SAS).
Minimum of 5 years' experience in data management and analytics, preferably in a banking environment.
Ability to effectively communicate complex matters and construct persuasive analytical summaries.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: We offer a hybrid schedule, with 3 days inoffice and 2 days remote after the initial 90-day period.
