*Job Description*
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of accounting processes and procedures and an understanding of GAAP regulatory standards, as well as an eagerness to learn.
In this position, you will be responsible for bookkeeping activities, maintaining accounts payable, processing payments to vendors and other entities, and posting daily deposits to accounts receivable.
You will work alongside the Controller and Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and reports.

*How You Will Succeed*
· Process vendor payments to ensure the company meets contractual payment deadlines
· Process and reconcile payments to brokers and other partner companies
· Complete bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Notify Account Managers of underpayments and owed premiums from clients
· Draw all disbursements for vendors, customers, companies, and other entities
· Prepare monthly journal entries and assist in the month-end close process
· Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and post daily deposits

· You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· You preferably have 1-2 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience
· You are highly organized, analytical, and have a keen attention to detail
· You are knowledgeable about accounting procedures and GAAP regulations
· You are skilled in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
· You handle sensitive and confidential financial information with integrity and discretion
